Vacation Bible School is one of the most joyful and meaningful ministries we offer each year, and our team is already hard at work preparing for Illumination Station VBS. From July 6–10, kids entering grades 1–6 will gather each evening from 6:00–8:30 PM to learn about the light of Jesus — the perfect, proven, powerful Son of God who reveals truth and brings hope.

This year’s theme invites children to explore how light shines, guides, and transforms. Through Bible teaching, music, games, snacks, and hands‑on activities, kids will discover who Jesus really is and why following Him changes everything.

As many of you know, the Magnolia School District’s shift to a year‑round schedule has made VBS planning more challenging for churches across our area. With limited open weeks, several churches end up hosting VBS at the same time, and that overlap has contributed to lower attendance for us in recent years. We’re praying that this summer will be different — and we’re asking for your help.

We need our church family to help spread the word. Tell your neighbors. Invite families you know. Share our posts online. Mention VBS at work, at the ball field, or wherever you cross paths with parents and kids. A simple invitation can make all the difference.

In the coming days, we’ll also have posters and handouts available for anyone who wants to place them around town — at businesses, community boards, or anywhere families might see them. Every effort helps us reach more children with the gospel.

Most importantly, please pray. Pray for our volunteers as they prepare. Pray for the children who will attend. Pray that the light of Christ will shine clearly and brightly through everything we do.

I’m excited to see what God will do this year at Illumination Station. Let’s work together to make this VBS our strongest and most impactful yet.
